What happens to my generations when my month resets?
They expire — unused generations don't roll over. You start fresh each month.

What's the difference between HD and standard quality?
HD (Pro) instructs DALL·E 3 to produce finer detail, sharper text rendering, and richer lighting. Standard quality is still excellent for most thumbnails.
